History
Birinci traces its roots back to early 70’s, when Mehmet Birinci decided to move from Trabzon and founded a machine shop in Istanbul.
In 1988 first investment on forging press took place, and the Company started hot forging of fasteners.
Moved to Sarıgazi Plant 6.8k m² and started export operations.
Certified to, ISO 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
By being e preferred supplier Birinci was awarded with Q1 certificate by Ford.
Birinci launched shifter mechanism as a first assembly parts.
Beside forging capacity of 7,000 tons, started to supply machined casting parts.
Moved to new manufacturing plant located in TOSB, 14k m² closed area 42k m² land.
New investments for friction and MAG welding line.
Birinci R&D Center was certified by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology
Birinci GmbH established via acquisition to gain presence & proximity to European OEMs and Tier 1 Suppliers.
Own designed and patented power step was started to used for OEM industry.
BTECH was launched as a sales office in order to expand USA business.
Certified to ISO 27001
