Our philosophy is to forge as efficiently as possible to leave less material to be machined.
Our forging unit employs 8 (40 KJ-100 KJ) hammers, screw type (200-750 tons), hydraulic and 5 mechanical forging presses (500-2500 tons), and upsetters, with an annual capacity of 21.000 tons. Birinci is able to forge items up to 20 kg. per piece. Heating processes are done by temperature controlled induction furnaces where efficiency is 0.75 kw/kg.
Our philosophy is to forge as efficiently as possible to leave less material to be machined. Typical forging materials are carbon, case hardening and alloy steels. We also use micro-alloy steel combined with controlled cooling process to optimize production costs.
Forgings ranging from 200 gr to 20 kg per piece using carbon and alloy steels can be supplied in normalised or QT condition. Additionally micro alloy steel is also used to achieve required strength through controlled cooling process.
